Do I need a special bra when using the Elvie Pump?
Elvie Pump is designed to be worn inside a standard nursing bra. You should press Elvie Pump firmly against your breast. There should be no gaps between Elvie Pump and your breast.
Each bra offers different levels of support, so adjust the suction correctly before each session. If you use a special structured and non-flexible bra, the special straps to adjust your bra can provide more space.
How many modes and intensity settings does the Elvie Pump have?
In addition to stimulation and pumping modes, Elvie Pump also has seven intensity settings, so you can find the intensity level that’s most comfortable and efficient for you.
What sizes of breast shells are available and how do I know if they will fit?
The Elvie Pump comes with 24mm and 28mm breast shells (often called breast shields), a pack of two 21mm breast shells is also available (upon request via the contact form).
The sizes of our breast shells are based on the width of the base of your nipple. You can measure the width of the base of your nipple with a ruler. The breast shells have the following sizes:

the base of the nipple is approximately 16mm to 18mm wide = 21mm breast shell

The base of the nipple is approximately 18mm to 21mm wide = 24mm breast shell

The base of the nipple is approximately 21mm to 25mm wide = 28mm breast shell
The size of your nipples may change over the course of your breastfeeding journey, so do not throw away the additional breast shells that come in the pack, in case you need them later.
