KAI BED:
A unique children's bed with a classic timeless design - an oval elegant look and well thought-out functionality that can be used for generations.
The bed follows the age of your child, with a height-adjustable bed base that can be raised and lowered in 2 positions.
When the child is old enough to get in and out of bed, one side of the bed can be removed.
As your child grows, you can quickly and easily remove both sides of the cot and purchase new lengths (on request), transforming the cot into a junior bed that you can enjoy for many years to come.
The conical legs and the invisible screws are the signature design of KAS Copenhagen. The Kai collection is inspired by Doric columns, an architectural element from ancient Greece, and represents one of the five orders of classical architecture.

- The bed has been tested and approved according to EN 716:2017 + AC:2019.
- The water-based paint has been tested and approved with regard to the current European toy legislation EN 71/3 2013. The varnish has been tested and approved according to EN 71-3:2019 + A1:2021. (Test for evaporation of toxic substances on painted/lacquered surfaces).
MATTRESS:
The mattress is made of cold foam. It is reversible and has vertical air channels that provide improved air circulation and wick moisture away from the body.
The mattress is upholstered with quilted cotton velour - cover made of 100% cotton. The cover is breathable and has a soft surface that helps the child's body to regulate the temperature. The cover has a YKK zipper, making it easy to remove when it needs to be washed for example (60°)
Please note: the mattress is delivered rolled up and it may take up to 48 hours for the mattress to reach the correct shape/size after unpacking.
- The mattress is produced in Denmark and meets the strict health and safety requirements of the EU.
- The mattress has been tested according to the safety standard EN 16890 STANDARD 100 and is OEKO-TEX® certified (2076-313 DTI).
- A product certificate that guarantees you that the product does not contain chemical residues that are harmful to health and the environment.
