After the warmth of the womb, the cradle is where the baby will spend most of his time during the first months of his life; the place where he will gradually get to know the world. Charlie Crane therefore designed KUMI as a reassuring cocoon and a space open to the outside world.

The design of the KUMI combines tradition and modernity. It maintains the millenary lateral swing, a delicate movement that helps babies fall asleep, but at the same time sketches minimalist and contemporary lines, thanks in particular to the laces around it, which give the whole both lightness and safety.

During assembly, the parents themselves tie the cords. A gesture of great emotional value, because it implies participation in the construction of the child's nest.

Laces are available in different colours. All versions come with a mattress and a range of mattress protectors and fitted sheets are available as options.
