STARTER SET AVENT
Anti-colic gift set with AirFree™ valve
Designed to reduce colic, burping and reflux*
The AirFree™ vent is designed to help your baby swallow less air. The teat stays full of milk, even in a horizontal position, so your baby can feed while sitting upright. By reducing the amount of air your baby swallows, common feeding issues such as colic, burping and reflux can be reduced
Keep milk in and air out for easy horizontal feeding
The teat stays full of milk, even when horizontal, so your baby can feed naturally in an upright position. This can help reduce reflux, aid digestion and make feeding more comfortable for you and your little one.
Teat contains milk, not air
Our unique AirFree™ valve keeps air out of the teat, so your baby swallows less air. This can help reduce common feeding problems such as colic, reflux and gas
Anti-colic system reduces colic and crying behaviour*
Clinical studies have shown that the Philips Avent bottle reduces colic and fussing*. How? A valve in the teat prevents a vacuum from forming when your baby drinks, allowing for uninterrupted feeding. This can reduce colic, gas, spit-up and burping.
Easy to clean and assemble as the AirFree™ valve is a one-piece design
The AirFree™ vent easily attaches to any Philips Avent Anti-colic and Classic+ bottle. Cleaning is also a breeze, thanks to the wide neck there are only a few parts to clean.
Use the bottle with or without the AirFree™ valve
You can use the Philips Avent Anti-colic bottle with or without the AirFree™ vent. The AirFree™ vent is compatible with our Philips Avent Anti-colic and Classic+ bottles in 125 ml, 260 ml and 330 ml.
- The AirFree™ vent is designed to help your baby swallow less air. The teat stays full of milk, even in a horizontal position, so your baby can feed while sitting upright. By reducing the amount of air your baby swallows, common feeding issues such as colic, burping and reflux can be reduced.
- Two-week-old babies fed with a Philips Avent bottle had significantly less colic and crying at night than babies fed with a competitor's bottle.
- What is colic and how does it affect your baby? Colic is caused in part by swallowing air while feeding. This causes discomfort in your baby’s digestive system. Symptoms include crying, gas, and spitting up.
